Brewgr Recipe of the Week
In honor of our winning hop of 2024, I found a recipe that would highlight Citra, and a Hazy New England IPA is a great place for Citra to shine. With a strong aromatic presence and a “juicy” flavor, Citra will make this hazy delicious on the nose as well as the mouth. The grain bill could probably be simplified if you choose to clone it, to make it more approachable to brew.

Poll Results: Vote For Your Favorite Hop of 2024!
Out of the 10 hops up for “the best of 2024”, the undisputed winner is Citra. Cascade came in a close second - had a couple brewers write in that their go tos are the “three C’s” - Cascade, Citra, and Centennial. In third place, we have East Kent Golding - the ultimate English hop, perfect for British ales.
I may lean with the 3 C’s crew, but I personally love all of these hops - variety is the spice of life.

These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2024
If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.
Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.
Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!
And the Answer Is...
🍺 Louis Pasteur, a French chemist and microbiologist who is often credited as the “Father of Fermentation”, published his work in 1857 that identified yeast as a living organism. We can all pour one out this holiday season in thanks for this key discovery that helps us homebrewers make great beer.
